Support and changelog

Write to support@potloc.com. It helps to include:

  • the client you are connecting from, and its version;
  • the tool that failed and the arguments it was given;
  • the error your assistant reported, in full;
  • roughly when it happened.

For a security review or a compliance question, start at trust.potloc.com — see Security and compliance. For anything about your account or the platform itself rather than the MCP server, Support and getting help says what to send.

We want to hear which tools you reach for, which ones return the wrong shape of answer, and what is missing. Same address: support@potloc.com.

Dates are when each change reached mcp.potloc.com.

  • Potloc is listed in Claude’s connector directory. In Claude you now add it from Settings → Connectors instead of entering the server URL yourself. Every other client, ChatGPT included, still takes the URL.
  • update_report takes a visibility: keep a report to yourself, share it with everyone on the survey, or give it a public link anyone can open. A Contributor can now create or disable a report’s public link.
  • list_reports and get_report return each report’s visibility. For a public report it also carries the link and whether it asks for a password.
  • published is gone from list_reports, get_report and update_report: visibility replaces it, with private for what was an unpublished draft.
  • Questionnaires you built yourself become read-only once they reach review. Potloc’s research team can also take one over at your request.
  • list_questions — the analysis-ready questions on a survey, with the display types and value formats a chart on each one supports.
  • sort_report_blocks — reorder a report’s blocks.
  • list_data_layouts and list_responses — read a survey’s questionnaire responses through one of its published data layouts. Both require full access on the survey.
  • update_report — rename a report, and publish or unpublish your own draft.
  • delete_questionnaire_element and restore_questionnaire_element. get_questionnaire now returns deleted elements and answers too, each carrying a deleted_at.
  • list_reports, get_report and get_chart_data — read reports and the numbers behind their charts.
  • create_questionnaire, update_questionnaire, create_questionnaire_element and update_questionnaire_element — author questionnaires you built yourself. Potloc-crafted questionnaires stay read-only.
  • First public tools: list_surveys, get_survey and get_questionnaire.
